Charles Michel expressed strong appreciation for the Republic of Moldova at the “Reinvent Moldova 2.0” event organized by the Realitatea Media Group. The former President of the European Council said he visits the country frequently and feels a vibrant society.
The guest of the event urged citizens to stay united around the common goal of joining the EU. He argued that this objective can strengthen social cohesion.
“Allow me to say that I feel, and I am sure, that we are very close to Moldova. I care about this country. I have visited it quite often, and I feel that the society is vibrant,” said Charles Michel.
“Reinvent Moldova 2.0” serves as a platform created by the Realitatea Media Group to promote civic engagement, strengthen democratic values, and support Moldova’s European path. The 2026 edition marks the second occurrence of the event and reinforces the message that the country’s future depends on the involvement of every citizen.
