A report is drawn up against MP Vasile Costiuc for defamation. The document is prepared after a complaint filed by the Chief Commissioner of the Capital, Marin Garaz.
From a video published by Costiuc, the fine amounts to 3,600 lei. In the recording, a police officer explains the reason for issuing the report.
“I do not agree, and that’s it. I sign here. Another report. I wish all those who have dignity, police officers who worked their whole lives, to remain sergeants, to remain majors, to remain in their positions, but to remain human,” the politician says in the video.
The MP signs the document but notes that he does not agree with the report. Costiuc plans to challenge the sanction in court.
