The US Ambassador to the Republic of Moldova, Kent D. Logsdon, met with the separatist leader from Tiraspol, Vadim Krasnoselski.
According to the media on the left of Dniester, during the talks Vadim Krasnoselski addressed the subject of the energy crisis and accused Chisinau of “inappropriate actions”.
“Despite Chisinau’s destructive actions, we advocate dialogue and promote a peaceful position,” Krasnoselski said.
We remind you that since November, Chisinau has reduced by 40% the volume of gas supplied to the banks of the Dniester. Following these actions, the unrecognized authorities from Tiraspol instituted a state of emergency in the region, and the companies’ activity was stopped.
