Nicu Popescu asks the Europeans to sanction the oligarchs who are conspiring with Moscow, to change the government in Chisinau, informs Agerpres, with reference to AFP. The statements were made during the EU Foreign Affairs Council.
The Foreign Minister stated that it is not the first time that Moldova has faced such a situation. According to him, the oligarchs with close connections with Moscow would be guilty of the potential destabilization.
Therefore, it was requested that “corrupt politicians who, together with Russia, are trying to destabilize Moldova”, be included on a black list, along with people banned from entering the EU and those whose bank assets are frozen.
