Women have lower earnings than men in most economic activities: financial and insurance activities – 41.4% (8953.3 lei) less; information and communications – by 39.2% (10366.7 lei) less; industry – by 20.0% (1820.7 lei) less; real estate transactions – by 18.3% (1442.4 lei) less; health and social assistance – by 17.9% (2316.4 lei) less.
At the same time, women earn higher wages than men only in administrative service activities and support service activities – by 9.3% (603.9 lei) more; education – by 3.5% (253.6 lei) more.
On the other hand, unemployment affects men more than women.
