According to the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry (MAIA), the Republic of Moldova has begun implementing innovative initiatives to modernise and integrate digital technologies into agriculture.
An example of such a platform is AGRODAT.MD, developed by agronomist Sergiu Smocinschi, was explored by MAIA State Secretary Andrian Digolean. The platform provides farmers with maps of soil temperature and rainfall, personalised sowing recommendations, and agricultural news.
“Farmers are encouraged to explore the future of the field through the AGRODAT.MD platform. This platform can assist them in managing their farms and agricultural crops efficiently and with informed decision-making, “Andrian Digolean says.
