The Moldova–Romania–Ukraine trilateral meeting may take place in April, Prime Minister Alexandru Munteanu announced. Authorities are considering Giurgiulesti and Chernivtsi as possible host cities.

Munteanu said the Government will send the proposal to Bucharest after he and several ministers from Chisinau visited Kyiv. The three countries plan to focus the spring meeting on concrete joint projects.

“We are not just planning a meeting. We want to discuss several concrete projects that we have developed together with the Ministry of Energy and the Ministry of Infrastructure, and potentially with the Ministry of Agriculture,” Munteanu stated during a Government meeting.

The Prime Minister did not provide details about the specific projects. During the visit to Kyiv, Moldova signed several agreements with Ukraine. These agreements cover the opening of a new border crossing point, the construction of a bridge at Cosauti, cooperation in the repatriation of unaccompanied children, and the right to paid employment for family members of diplomatic mission staff.
