On the eve of Moldova’s Independence Day, on August 26, an extraordinary concert will take place at the Chișinău Arena complex, featuring the Moldovan National Youth Orchestra alongside young musicians from Ukraine.
The concert titled “Symphonic Rock Arena: Tribute to Freedom” will bring together 100 young musicians from both countries on stage.
The concert program will include legendary songs from bands such as The Beatles, John Lennon, Nirvana, Led Zeppelin, Radiohead, Queen, Aerosmith, Metallica, Scorpions, AC/DC, Coldplay, Rammstein, System of a Down, Guns N’ Roses, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Limp Bizkit, Elton John, Bon Jovi, Muse, Moby, Daft Punk, Prince, BI-2, and Okean Elzy, all arranged in a symphonic style.
The featured soloist will be Ana Cernicova, and the conductor for the evening will be Andriano Marian.
One of the surprises of the evening will be the performance of a children’s choir.
The Moldovan National Youth Orchestra had the honor of being the first to perform at the Chișinău Arena during its opening in December 2022.

In total, there will be three major concerts in August, catering to audiences of all ages and musical preferences. On August 25, the Electronic Music Day will take place, featuring performances by artists such as Golan (Hybrid), Cosmos in Buzunar, and a DJ-Set by Pendulum.
On August 27, the rock music event will light up the stage with performances by Alternosfera and “Ocean Elzy.” These concerts promise to be vibrant and enjoyable experiences for all music enthusiasts, offering a diverse range of musical styles to suit everyone’s taste.
