Moldovan authorities plan to open 294 polling stations abroad for the parliamentary elections on September 28, 2025. Following proposals from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Central Electoral Commission (CEC) published the provisional list of locations for public consultation.
Italy will host the largest number, with 73 polling stations. Germany will have 36, France 26, and both Romania and the United Kingdom will have 23 each. The United States will feature 22 stations.
Other countries proposed for polling stations include Ukraine, Israel, and Russia, each with two stations. The Russian Federation’s allocation of only two polling stations marks a significant decrease compared to previous elections.
