Castel Mimi announces the official opening of Castel Mimi Wine Resort, the first and only five-star zero-emission hotel in the Republic of Moldova. The opening will be on June 5, marking a significant achievement in sustainable tourism.
Over the past year, the Castel Mimi team has worked tirelessly to turn this vision into reality. The hotel is completely energy independent, thanks to a photovoltaic park installed on the complex grounds, which provides 100% of its green energy needs. To minimize carbon emissions, Castel Mimi refused to supply gas. In winter, it will provide heating with granules from sunflower residues.
Castel Mimi Wine Resort is equipped with state-of-the-art “Smart Home” technologies, ensuring superior energy efficiency through passive heating and cooling systems that maintain a comfortable temperature without producing noise. Reservations are also automated, activating, depending on the season, heating and cooling systems before guests arrive. Artificially intelligent technologies will optimize energy consumption and manage essential equipment such as heat pumps, smoke detectors, and appliances.

With a total capacity of 68 beds, the hotel will maximize the comfort and satisfaction of guests, whether couples or families with children, including equipping rooms with state-of-the-art soundproofing systems and allergy filters.
