Voters can request to vote at their location for the second round of the presidential elections on November 3, 2024, as announced by representatives of the Central Electoral Commission (CEC). According to the commission, applications submitted for the first round are not valid for the second round.
“According to electoral legislation, voters who cannot go to the polling station due to health reasons or other valid reasons can request mobile voting from the electoral office. Applications must be submitted in writing by 2:00 PM on the day before the election. On election day, requests can still be made in writing until 2:00 PM if accompanied by a medical certificate,” said the CEC.
It’s worth mentioning that individuals who cannot submit their request for location-based voting on their own have the right to do so through a family member or to seek assistance from a social worker at the local municipality.

On election day, the chairperson of the polling station’s electoral office will assign at least two members to bring a mobile ballot box and the necessary voting materials to the voter’s location so they can vote.
