Special measures will be introduced at Chisinau International Airport from September 14 to 17 to manage increased passenger flows and maintain public safety and order as Hasidic pilgrims leave Moldova.

During this period, access to the airport terminal will be restricted to passengers, airport employees and aircraft crew members.

Passengers will be allowed to enter the terminal no earlier than three hours before their scheduled departure time. They must present a valid travel document and confirmation of their flight.

The movement and parking of buses will also be managed in specially designated areas. Drivers and group organizers are urged to follow the established routes, designated stopping points and instructions from airport staff and authorities to avoid blocking access roads to the terminal.

Passengers are advised to check their flight status in advance using the airport’s online departures board, have their travel documents ready for inspection and follow the instructions of airport staff and the relevant authorities.
