Mayor Ion Ceban announced on Wednesday, March 27, that Chisinau is among the finalist cities vying for the title of “European Youth Capital 2027.”
“I was happy to learn this news for our young people and all our efforts to develop the youth segment in Chisinau municipality.
The team from the Chisinau Municipal Youth Centre with youth organizations, under the aegis of the Chisinau City Hall, will work on a complex plan of activities for young people, which will be presented to the European jury. As a result, in November we will find out the final results”, Ceban’s message reads.
According to the mayor, this result demonstrates the effort made in recent years to develop the youth sector in Chisinau municipality.
