The Border Police expects a significant increase in air traffic at Chisinau International Airport during the Easter holidays due to more passengers traveling. To ensure a smooth travel experience and help the airport run efficiently, the Border Police urges all travelers to follow a few guidelines.
1. Arrive Early at the airport
The Border Police advises passengers to arrive at the airport at least 3 hours before departure to allow enough time for check-in, security checks, and border control.
2. Prepare Your Belongings for Security Control
To expedite the process of security checks, the Border Police recommends following these simple rules:
- Liquids and cosmetics should be stored in containers of no more than 100 ml and placed in a transparent, resealable bag (maximum 1 liter).
- Remove large electronic devices (laptops, tablets) from your hand luggage before security control.
- Avoid packing prohibited items such as knives, scissors, lighters, etc.
- The Border Police advises wearing comfortable clothing and footwear to facilitate passing through security filters.
