In February 2022, the Republic of Moldova exported goods worth $ 336.6 million. The volume of exports increased by 1.9% compared to January 2022 and by 48.9% compared to February 2021. In January-February 2022, most goods arrived in the EU – 62.1%.
According to the National Bureau of Statistics, notes realitatea.md, between January and February 2022, exports of domestic goods accounted for 81.8% of total exports and contributed to the increase in the total value of exports by 53.5%. At the same time, the re-exports of foreign goods (after processing and classic) in January-February 2022 amounted to 121.1 million US dollars (18.2% of total exports), or 12.8% more, compared with the same period in 2021. This increase influenced the increase in total exports, by 3.2%.

Most exports were made by road, more precisely, 77.2% of the total. Road transport is followed by maritime transport – 12.7%), rail transport (9.2%). Air transport accounts for only 0.9%.
The data show that 62.1% reached the European Union (EU). 11.8% of total exports to the CIS countries.
In January-February 2022, most exports reached Romania – 28%, then Turkey – 13.8%.
