The national football team of the Republic of Moldova achieved an important victory on the evening of September 10th. The “Tricolors” defeated the Faroe Islands with a score of 1-0. Captain Vadim Rață scored the only goal in the 53rd minute.
As a result, Moldova is currently in 2nd place in Group “E” of the EURO 2024 qualifiers with 8 points, tied with the Czech Republic, who have one match less played.
In the qualifiers, the national team coached by Sergiu Cleșcenco still has away matches against Poland on October 15th and the Czech Republic on November 20th, as well as a home match against Albania on November 17th.
