Moldovan Defense Minister Anatolie Nosatii visited the U.S. last week, meeting with senior officials from the Department of Defense and Department of State, according to the U.S. Embassy in Chisinau.
On August 20, Nosatîi was inducted into the International Hall of Fame of the course U.S. Army Command and General Staff, which he completed in 2005. This honor is reserved for distinguished international graduates who have made significant contributions to their countries’ militaries. He thus became the fifth Moldovan military officer to receive this distinction, the diplomatic mission noted.
Talks with U.S. counterparts focused on more than three decades of cooperation in military professional development, as well as the long-standing partnership between Moldova and the U.S. state of North Carolina.
