The process of European integration should not be politicized and associated with a single political party. This is what Dinu Plingau, president of the “DA Platform,” says, according to whom the process of European integration and the war in Ukraine must be subjects that strengthen society, notes ipn.md.
“The process of European integration should not be a politicized, party issue, it should become a national issue. Any attempt to turn a referendum or the European integration process into a political message damages the European course, just as the Alliance for European Integration has damaged the European integration course, although they have done some good things too. But the politicization of this process has associated the European Union with less pleasant things done by some politicians in the Alliance for European Integration,” said Dinu Plingau.
Dinu Plingau says that if the Constitutional Court approves the organization of the referendum on the same day as the presidential elections, the ” DA Platform” will urge people to support the country’s European vector. According to the politician, the risk of failure in the referendum cannot be excluded.
