The head of state, Maia Sandu, signed a decree granting Moldovan citizenship to several members of the band “БИ-2” and their family members.
The head of President Maia Sandu’s cabinet, Adrian Belutsel, said.
“Our country is open and hospitable to people who choose peace, promote friendship and respect of peoples. The members of the band BI-2 were persecuted in Russia after they spoke out against the war in Ukraine. Moldova defends human dignity and freedom of speech. Our country stands in solidarity with those in danger,” emphasized Adrian Belutsel.
