Moldova sends a new batch of humanitarian aid to Ukraine. It amounts to 4.9 million lei, according to the government decision.
“The project aims to support the neighboring country by releasing material goods from state and mobilization reserves and granting them as humanitarian aid.
To this end, the Material Reserves Agency under the Ministry of Internal Affairs will release material goods from state and mobilization reserves to the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations, which will form the humanitarian aid consignment and ensure its transportation to the destination point,” the draft approved by the Cabinet of Ministers reads.
The support includes blood transfusion systems, power stations, canned meat and fish, and construction glass. In addition, more than 101,000 lei will be allocated for Moldovan rescuers to transport humanitarian aid to Ukraine and another 4.9 million lei to supplement state reserves.
