Prime Minister Dorin Recean met with German Ambassador Margret Maria Uebber and Italian Ambassador Lorenzo Tomassoni as they concluded their mandates in Moldova. He thanked both diplomats for their contributions to strengthening the friendship and cooperation between Moldova and their respective countries.
The Prime Minister praised Ambassador Uebber’s efforts to deepen Moldovan-German bilateral relations and expressed gratitude for Germany’s consistent support in helping Moldova navigate recent crises and advance its European integration. They also discussed Moldova’s attractive investment climate and emphasized Moldova’s potential to attract new German investors.
In his meeting with Ambassador Tomassoni, Prime Minister Recean acknowledged his role in reinforcing the Moldovan-Italian strategic partnership. They reviewed recent achievements, including ratifying the Social Security Agreement, signing the Memorandum for Cooperation in the justice sector, and opening the Italian Agency for Cooperation and Development’s office in Chisinau.
