The degree of digitization of public services for entrepreneurs increased from 48.2% to 59% in the first quarter of 2024. The figures were presented today by the Ministry of Economic Development and Digitisation.
“The government’s unified and prioritized approach to the matter in question made the leap possible. Entrepreneurs know – digitization helps efficiency, cost, and time savings. The digitization of processes and data facilitates transparency and reduces the risk of corruption. The process is faster, safer, simpler, and cheaper. That’s why 7 out of 10 applications are online,” Deputy Prime Minister Dumitru Alaiba, who also serves as the Minister of Economic Development and Digitisation, made the statement.

“We don’t stop. We like to see things through to the end, so the goal is the same – 100%. Digitization is a powerful tool in accelerating our country’s economic growth,” concluded Dumitru Alaiba.
