Deputy Prime Minister Mihai Popsoi had a meeting with the Ambassador of the Swiss Confederation to Moldova, based in Kyiv, Félix Baumann.
“We appreciate Switzerland’s important support for our country’s development in areas such as health, good governance, and economic resilience. We welcome the upward trend in bilateral dialogue, which has been strengthened through regular high-level visits and contacts. We discussed the ratification and entry into force of the Free Trade Agreement between the Republic of Moldova and EFTA member states, namely Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Norway, and Iceland. Additionally, we discussed strengthening economic and sectoral cooperation through the organization of the joint intergovernmental commission meeting this year,” said Mihai Popsoi.
