Environment Day Festival Returns to Valea Morilor Park on June 10th

The City Hall of Chișinău announces that on Saturday, June 10th, the 8th edition of the “Environment Day” Festival will take place in Valea Morilor Park in the capital city. The event is organized in the context of World Environment Day, which is celebrated annually on June 5th.

The festival will feature activities aimed at informing and raising awareness among the population about the importance of environmental protection and sustainable waste management practices. At the entrance of the park, throughout the event, there will be a question and answer session for both adults and children, addressing current environmental issues.

Additionally, a exhibition of specialized equipment and machinery will be organized for visitors. They will have the opportunity to explore a waste evacuation and collection vehicle, various types of storage containers, as well as samples of recyclable and biodegradable waste.

The event is organized by the City Hall of Chișinău and the Municipal Enterprise “Autosalubritate,” in collaboration with the Non-Governmental Organization “Reciclare.”

Valeria Stoica, a talented singer from the Republic of Moldova who is loved by audiences on both sides of the Prut River, will perform at the event this weekend.
