The 2023 edition of America Days in the Republic of Moldova will take place from May 18-20 in Chișinău, Bălți, and Cahul. The US Embassy is once again organizing a series of events dedicated to the strong partnership between Moldova and the US. Visitors to each city will enjoy a rich program offered by several attractive thematic areas.
The Expo Zone is where many of the organizations supported by the US will showcase their products and services. In the Sport Zone, coaches will share the secrets of basketball and baseball with guests. The America Bus Zone is where children and adults can practice their English and even win prizes. The Gastronomy Zone is where you can savor classic American snacks. The Children’s Zone is where the youngest guests can play and have fun. The American pop group Big Hands Rhythm & Blues Band from New York will heat up the atmosphere with a wide range of well-known pop songs, as well as original pieces. In the evening, the stage will transform into an outdoor cinema.
Those attending the event will have the opportunity to watch the film “Finch” with Tom Hanks in the titular role. The film will be presented in the original language with Romanian subtitles.
The America Days 2023 Caravan Program is as follows:
- May 18 in Chișinău on Eugen Doga Pedestrian Street from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM
- May 19 in Bălți on Independence Square from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM
- May 20 in Cahul on Independence Square from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM
