Nichita Jalba and Dorina Midrigan are the first voters at polling precinct 210 in Washington DC, IPN reports. The Moldovan Embassy to the United States says young people voted at 07.00 local time. “They came from Ocean City because they don’t let others decide their future. Do the same! Your voice counts!” the diplomatic mission notes.
Central Election Commission (CEC) Chairwoman Angelica Caraman announced that the out-of-country precincts are in full swing, except for four. One polling station will operate in Canada, and three will be open in the USA, starting at 17:00 Chisinau time.
