For the first time, an equestrian athlete from Moldova will take part in the Olympic Games

Moldovan athlete Alisa Glinka will participate in equestrian competitions at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris. This was announced by the National Equestrian Federation of Moldova on January 4.

The federation emphasized that it will be the first time in the last few decades that a Moldovan equestrian athlete will participate in the Olympic Games.

“This is a grand achievement in the history of equestrian sport in the country. This is Alice’s victory, achieved by many years of hard training, tireless work, and high skill,” the organization added.

The equestrian events at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris will feature 200 athletes competing in three disciplines – show jumping, triathlon, and dressage. Alisa Glinka will compete in dressage.
