Vasile Saramet, the former head of Moldova’s Civil Aviation Authority, has been appointed acting administrator of the state-owned air traffic management company MOLDATSA, the Public Property Agency announced.
The appointment follows the departure of Dumitru Vangheli, whose term as administrator ended after his managerial powers were suspended and the company’s Board of Directors approved his resignation.
According to the Public Property Agency, the Board decided that Saramet will serve as acting administrator until a competition is held to appoint a permanent director.
Ion Ciumac, Deputy Director General of the Public Property Agency, officially introduced the new acting administrator to the MOLDATSA staff on Monday.
