Four new Moldovan ambassadors appointed

Four new ambassadors of the Republic of Moldova were officially appointed. The president of the country, Maia Sandu, signed the decrees. They were made public by the Presidency, at the end of last week.

According to the decrees, our country will have a new ambassador to Lithuania, Emil Druc. He was initially recalled from the same position held in Canada.

Also, Sergiu Odainic will be the new ambassador of the Republic of Moldova in Canada, Liliana Guţan in Sweden, and Iulian Grigoriță – in the State of Qatar, who will start his work on September 23.

The decrees were signed by the head of state on August 15, and entered into force at the end of last week, after being published in the Official Monitor of the Republic of Moldova.

The four diplomats were also approved by the Government.
