The government sent Maia Sandu a draft law on the ratification of a grant provided to Moldova by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), in the amount of 5.6 million euros. The document was signed on March 30.
“Money has been allocated for the implementation of the project “Solid Waste in the Republic of Moldova”. The project implementation period is planned for the period 2023-2027, and the term of the Agreement will be up to 15 years”.
The funds will be sent to Ungheni, Calarasi, and Nisporen regions. The agreement remains in effect until the beneficiary fulfills its contractual obligations.
The main category of beneficiaries of the project will be local public authorities and the population, state institutions, and the private sector.
