Maia Sandu sent a message of condolences to the British royal family. The President of the Republic of Moldova paid tribute to the work of Queen Elizabeth II.

The Queen died on Thursday afternoon at Balmoral. Officially, Buckingham Palace announced the death of the British sovereign in the evening, when a message was also displayed outside the residence.
After the Queen’s death, the crown is taken over by her son, Charles. He changes his identity and as king will be officially named Charles III.
