Igor Grosu announced on Radio Moldova that he will run for the position of president of the Party of Action and Solidarity (PAS). He explained that party members elect part of the leadership based on motions, while they choose another part through a single-member vote.
The current PAS leader revealed that the party’s next congress will take place on June 14. According to Grosu, the PAS members who support him will also participate in the party meeting.
“The PAS will hold its congress in June. I’ll tell you quickly. I am running. I submitted a motion, because in our party members elect part of the leadership based on motions, and another part through nominations. Together with the team of colleagues who supported me, I will participate and run at the PAS congress on June 14, 2026,” Igor Grosu announced.
Earlier, the PAS stated that party members will hold meetings of the party’s territorial organizations before the congress in order to elect their leadership and delegate representatives to the June gathering.
