According to the Italian leader, global leaders gathered at this summit to emphasize that Europe is not merely a “club” defined by rules and interests, but a civilization founded on the principles of freedom, equality, solidarity, and the rule of law.
“We are here to remind everyone that we will not allow these principles to be challenged or destroyed by those who believe they can return us to the most difficult years of the past,” added Giorgia Meloni.
