Members of a delegation from the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania will visit the Republic of Moldova from May 21 to May 24.
According to the parliament’s communication and public relations department, the delegation includes Deputy Chair of the European Affairs Committee, Marius Matijosaitis, member of the Legal Affairs Committee, Vilius Semeska, and former representative of the Seimas in the European Parliament, Loreta Raulinaityte, who is the head of the Interpretation and Translation Department of the Seimas Secretariat.
The Lithuanian officials will meet with Speaker Igor Grosu, head of the Committee on Foreign Policy and European Integration Ina Cosheru, head of the Committee on National Security, Defence and Public Order Lilian Carp, and head of the Friendship Group with the Republic of Lithuania Ion Babici.

The visit’s agenda also includes meetings with representatives of the Government, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the State Chancellery.
Discussions will focus on the European path of the Republic of Moldova and the assistance and support Lithuania can provide to our country in its European integration efforts.
