The leaders who currently enjoy the highest trust among Romanians are Maia Sandu, Donald Trump, and Emmanuel Macron, according to a new survey conducted by Avangarde between September 8 and 14, 2025. The poll measured perceptions of Romania’s direction, international political leaders, global institutions, and foreign policy issues.
