The Action and Solidarity Party (PAS) presidential candidate Maia Sandu called diaspora citizens to mobilize even more for the upcoming runoff election.
“Dear Moldovans abroad, thank you for the remarkable turnout at the polls! The 240 548 of you—from all corners of the world—came out to vote, defending peace, our European path, and a better future for loved ones at home. You voted YES in the referendum, and we won! It is a victory for future generations, as we will enshrine EU membership in our Constitution,” Sandu stated.
She added, “For this YES, for this victory to matter, we need as many people as possible to vote again on November 3.”
