Moldovan President Maia Sandu is attending the Ukraine – South-East Europe regional summit in the Albanian capital Tirana, on Wednesday, 28 February 2024. The presidential institution issued a press release to this effect.
“The summit discusses regional cooperation, support for EU accession efforts for candidate countries, including the Republic of Moldova, and continued support for Ukraine, and the restoration of sustainable peace on the European continent,” the statement said.
At the summit, the head of state will hold bilateral meetings with counterparts attending the event.
