The first electric bus made in Moldova has hit the road. The Informbusiness SRL team has created a means of transportation that can cover 70 km and charges in about half an hour.
The vehicle was inspected by Prime Minister Dorin Recean, Minister of Economy Dumitru Alaiba, and Minister of Energy Victor Parlicov. They congratulated the entrepreneur for this achievement and wished success to the company’s team.
“The transportation unit carries the Moldovan country code, internationally recognized. Based on the battery capacity, the bus can cover 70 km and charges in approximately 30 minutes. Mr. Eșanu’s company has managed to establish itself in the entire international market. They export technology and equipment for around 30 models of trolleybuses, electric buses, and trams to over 170 cities around the world,” notes Dumitru Alaiba.

According to the Minister of Economy, the success of this initiative represents the success of the Republic of Moldova. Authorities hope that the initiative will attract foreign investors to our country.
