MEP Mureșan Strikes Deals at the White House, Sets Sights on Moldova’s European Future

Romanian MEP Siegfried Mureșan Negotiates Support for the Republic of Moldova at the White House. Following his meetings in the US, he will attend the Moldova European National Assembly.

This week, Mureșan is participating in the European Parliament’s Committee on Budgets mission in Washington. He is scheduled to have meetings at the White House, and the United States Department of the Treasury, and engage with members of Congress to discuss strengthening relations between the United States and the European Union, as well as increasing support for the Republic of Moldova and Ukraine.

“At the end of the week, I will be heading to Chisinau. On Saturday, I have several meetings with representatives of the government and young people from the Republic of Moldova,” Mureșan states.


On Sunday, May 21, the MEP will meet with Dorin Recean. He will also participate in the Moldova European National Assembly, convened in the Great National Assembly Square by the head of state.

“I will stand alongside the people of the Republic of Moldova at the ‘Moldova European’ National Assembly, where we will show our support for the country’s European path,” Mureșan further conveys.
