Mihai Popsoi is heading to Strasbourg. He will deliver a speech at the PACE plenary session

Mihai Popsoi, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Moldova, is paying a working visit to the Council of Europe in Strasbourg, as Moldova holds the Presidency of the Committee of Ministers.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the official’s agenda includes meetings with Petra Bayr, President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE), as well as with Mathieu Mori, Secretary General of the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities.

During the visit, Mihai Popsoi will deliver a speech at the plenary session of PACE, scheduled for April 21 at 16:30 (Moldova time), followed by a Q&A session.

The address represents Moldova’s final intervention in the PACE plenary during its Presidency of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe, a mandate that will conclude in May 2026.

The speech will be broadcast live on the official platforms of the Council of Europe.
