The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Nicu Popescu, is going to Norway. Thus, during September 5-6, Nicu Popescu will be on a working visit to Oslo.
“It is the first visit of a Moldovan foreign minister to the capital of Norway, Oslo, in the last 5 years. The work agenda includes consultations with the Norwegian Minister of Foreign Affairs Anniken Huitfeldt as well as working meetings with the Minister of Petroleum and Energy, Terje Aasland and representatives of Norwegian private companies from the field of energy”, announced Nicu Popescu.
The head of Moldovan diplomacy will discuss ways to intensify bilateral cooperation, the security situation in the region in the context of the war in Ukraine, including its impact on our country. At the same time, Nicu Popescu will talk about the efforts of the authorities regarding the diversification of energy sources, as well as the reform agenda during the accession to the European Union.
