More Moldovan citizens are asking for evacuation from Lebanon, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Chisinau announced.
The authorities stated that these nationals have submitted several requests for assistance and evacuation to the Moldovan embassy in Ankara, which is also responsible for Lebanon.
So far, authorities have received around 20 such requests, and Moldovan diplomats note that the number is increasing.

“Currently, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Moldova, together with the Embassy, is making efforts to urgently evacuate Moldovan citizens who request assistance from the authorities,” the representatives of the Chisinau diplomacy report.
