Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration Cristina Gherasimov discussed the stages of EU accession negotiations and best practices for European integration with Albania’s Ambassador to the European Union, Ferit Hoxha, during a recent meeting in Brussels.
“We have a strong partnership with Albania, built on cooperation and mutual trust,” Gherasimov stated.
The dialogue follows the Memorandum of Cooperation signed in May, under which a group of Moldovan civil servants responsible for Chapters 23 and 24 of the EU acquis is currently on a study visit to Albania. The visit aims to draw lessons from Albania’s experience and deepen Moldova’s understanding of the negotiation process.
