According to the Indian Foreign Ministry, the agreement “will give an additional impetus to the friendly and cordial relations between the two countries.”
India’s Foreign Secretary, Shri Pawan Kapoor, and Moldova’s Ambassador to India, Anna Taban, signed the agreement.
“The agreement, once it comes into force, will allow holders of diplomatic and official passports of one country to travel to the other without a visa,” the Indian Foreign Ministry said in a press release.
