The Republic of Moldova took center stage at BOZAR – Palais des Beaux-Arts in Brussels, during an event celebrating the country’s deepening relationship with the European Union. The Mission of the Republic of Moldova to the EU organized the event on the same day the European Commission presented its 2025 Enlargement Report.
President Maia Sandu, European Commissioner for Enlargement Marta Kos, Vice-President of the European Commission Henna Virkunnen, and numerous European officials, diplomats, and friends of Moldova attended the reception.
The Ministry of Culture reported that the evening blended diplomacy and culture, allowing guests to experience Moldova’s charm through fine wines and traditional dishes prepared by master chef Alexandru Sapco, and through the Concertino Accordion Band’s performance, which brought Moldova’s authentic energy and emotion to the European stage.
The Mission of the Republic of Moldova to the EU organized the event as part of the “Cultural Diplomacy” project, with support from the Ministry of Culture and European partners.
