The Republic of Moldova has qualified for the grand final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2026. The country’s representative, Satoshi, impressed the European audience with the song Viva, Moldova! and secured a place in the final of the competition, which will take place on May 16 in Vienna.

The artist opened the first semifinal with an energetic performance that combined influences from Moldovan folklore and modern rhythms. Both the audience and international bookmakers praised the show, and bookmakers had already considered Satoshi among the favorites to qualify before the contest began.

Alongside the Republic of Moldova, Finland, Sweden, Belgium, Serbia, Poland, Croatia, Lithuania, Greece, and Israel also qualified for the Eurovision 2026 final. Fifteen countries competed in the first semifinal, and ten secured places in Saturday’s grand final.
