Invest Moldova Agency, in collaboration with the Public Property Agency, has officially launched the Privatization Guide 2025—a comprehensive and strategic resource designed to assist investors interested in acquiring public assets in the Republic of Moldova. The guide aims to streamline the privatization process and provide clarity for both domestic and international stakeholders.
Structured in a Q&A format, the guide outlines the legal framework, procedural steps, and rules governing the acquisition of state-owned assets. It covers various methods of privatization, including commercial auctions, investment contests, and stock exchange transactions, making it a practical tool for navigating Moldova’s evolving investment landscape.
Among the key assets available for privatization this year are the Zarea Hotel and the Glass Factory, both considered strategic properties with the potential to generate significant value for the national economy. Roman Cojuhari, General Director of the Public Property Agency, emphasized the importance of these opportunities, stating, “These important state assets will be put up for privatization, offering attractive opportunities for investors, while also having a significant impact on the national economy.”

Natalia Bejan, Director of Invest Moldova Agency, highlighted the guide’s role in fostering transparency and investor confidence. “With this new guide, we provide investors with a clear framework to understand the opportunities and responsibilities within the privatization process,” she said.
The Privatization Guide 2025 and the accompanying Handbook for Auctions are available in English and can be downloaded free of charge from the “Publications” section of the Invest Moldova Agency’s official website. This initiative marks a new chapter in Moldova’s efforts to attract strategic investment and strengthen its economic development.
