The Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry (MAFI) announced on Wednesday, June 4, that a batch of 1,372 anti-hail rockets purchased from Bulgaria has recently arrived at the central warehouse in Cornesti.
This delivery raises the current stock to approximately 2,700 rockets distributed across 132 launch sites in protected areas.
The system safeguards approximately 1.67 million hectares of agricultural land—around 55% of Moldova’s total territory.

According to the MAFI, the protected zones cover 22 districts, the municipality of Balti, and the entire Gagauzia Autonomous Territorial Unit, either fully or partially.
