Moldova Secures Second Bronze at European Canoe Sprint Championship in Racice

The Republic of Moldova has claimed another bronze medal at the European Canoe Sprint Championships in Racice, Czech Republic. This time, the honor goes to the mixed C4 canoe team of Serghei Tarnovschi, Oleg Tarnovschi, Daniela Cociu, and Maria Olarasu, who delivered a powerful performance in the final, earning a place on the third step of the podium.

It marks Moldova’s second major medal at the European competition. Serghei Tarnovschi won bronze in the men’s 1000-meter canoe sprint after a fiercely contested race. The Moldovan athlete was outpaced by Romania’s Catalin Chirila, who claimed gold, and the Czech Martin Fuksa, who took silver.
