“I appreciated the positive dynamics of Moldovan-Azeri relations recently. All these years, our countries have supported each other’s sovereignty and territorial integrity within internationally recognized borders, and in 2022, with the invasion of the Russian Federation in Ukraine, we realize even more how important peace is. Another topic on the discussion agenda concerned the energy crisis, and here I emphasized that the Republic of Moldova seeks to diversify its sources day by day and that we are interested in initiating joint projects related to energy. In the context of the challenges our country is facing, we are also counting on attracting investments in sectors such as agricultural processing, energy efficiency, IT, logistics and transport”, Grosu’s announcement states.
